How Do I Know What

CBD To Buy?

If you are new to CBD, shopping can become a bit confusing and probably overwhelming... Although you can get CBD almost anywhere now, they aren't all the same. Many of the products on the shelf are falsely labelled so be sure you can locate the certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer. This will show you that your product is labelled properly and what is in it. Be sure your product is organically grown and grown in the US. It is extremely important that you understand the dosage you are taking and that there is a representative you can speak with if you have any questions. Understand the difference of Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate CBD. (read difference at bottom of this page) Ask questions, this is very important.

Dosages

Because each persons body is so different, the way you take your CBD will vary also. It is important to follow the direction of your bottle but also know that CBD is not a one size fits all product...

Isolate

CBD Isolate is the result of the Hemp plant being extracted to it's purest form removing other compounds including cannabinoids and THC.  Isolate is a good option if you are new to CBD and do not want any traces of THC in your system. Some studies suggest that while CBD Isolate does offer certain health benefits, some of these may have less effect than those gained from using a Full-Spectrum or Broad Spectrum CBD product. (No THC)

Broad Spectrum

Broad Spectrum CBD contains no THC. The Hemp plant is extracted leaving all naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes flavonoids, vitamins, and fatty acids. Experts agree that a CBD Isolate will provide the benefits of CBD, but is missing the cannabinoids that make Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum a more powerful approach. This is because when the cannabinoids interact with your body it creates the entourage effect, a synergistic effect which works on many different areas within the body by binding to your CB1 and CB2 receptors. (No THC)

Full Spectrum

Full Spectrum CBD is the most powerful of these 3 types of CBD. Why? With Full Spectrum you may find small traces of THC but with the legal limit being 0.3% dry weight, this is not enough to get you high. This gives a more synergistic effect than cannabinoids alone. Full Spectrum CBD is made up of the compounds of the whole hemp plant rather than a singular aspect, this gives you a boost in the health benefits and overall therapeutic effect of cannabinoids. It increases the messages between CB2 receptors (body) and CB1 receptors (brain). (Contains less than 0.3% THC - under legal limit)

Hemp is a word used to classify varieties of Cannabis that contain 0.3% or less THC content. The hemp plant has over 50,000 uses and CBD is not the newest one. CBD history actually stretches back to the 1940's. Hemp is legal in most states now but you must be 18 or over. CBD will not get you high and is NOT considered a mind altering substance.

Marijuana is a term used to classify varieties of Cannabis that contain more than 0.3% THC and can induce psychotropic or euphoric effects on the user. The marijuana plant is found to have come after the hemp plant. Marijuana is legal in most states now but must be 21 or over. Marijuana will get you high and

IS considered a mind altering substance.

HEMP vs MARIJUANA

Their is much confusion that presents itself for CBD users that it has become increasingly important to understand the difference between hemp and marijuana. Not only how they relate to Cannabis but how they both react in your body.
